Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Call it Quits?

According to E! News, High School Musical sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have called it quits.

According to E! News sources, Zac and Vanessa, who began dating while filming High School Musical, have just recently split up.

"It's nothing dramatic," a source explained of their split. "There's no third party involved."

"They were together for so long," another source said. "It just ran its course."

But the sources also say that the two remain friends, which is good news considering Vanessa turns 22 tomorrow!

Zac, 23, is currently filming The Lucky One in New Orleans while Vanessa is getting ready to wrap Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in Hawaii.
