Big Time Bromance: Alex Rodriguez Opts To Spend Time With Jay-Z At Hamptons Party Despite A 'Bevy Of Beauties' Vying For His Attention

Single — and not in the mood to mingle! Alex Rodriguez preferred the company of Jay-Z over a group of women vying for his attention at a recent holiday bash.

A source recently dished that A-Rod was surrounded by a “bevy of beauties” at a Fourth of July party in the Hamptons, but that he was more interested in bonding with his rapper buddy, 51, than seeking out any new lovers.

“A-Rod came to the party with his nephew Nick,” the source said. Rodriguez, 45, arrived via helicopter at Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin’s $50 million Bridgehampton mansion.

“He goes and sits with Jay-Z, Robert Kraft, and Rubin. Alex had not seen Jay since the pandemic started,” the source explained. "Then all these girls surrounded their table. It was literally a bevy of beauties trying to get to Alex."

Instead of mingling with the women at the party, “all Alex was doing was chilling with his nephew and Jay,” the source spilled to Page Six. “He knew what was going on, but he kept to himself.”

A-Rod’s ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez was not in attendance at the Hampton’s bash — but she wasn’t very far, as she and on-again lover Ben Affleck cozied up at her nearby Water Mill estate.

Sources close to A-Rod claim that the former New York Yankees player isn’t looking for love following his split from J-Lo. He is instead concentrating on baseball broadcasting, his new NBA team and his family, according to the second source.

Another insider at the Hamptons party reported that the former Yankee "is not looking to find any girls...but it’s nice to know that girls are still interested.”

This isn’t the first event where Rodriguez has decided to lay low. He was also seen on Saturday, July 3, at Richie Akiva’s party at David Rosenberg’s pad in Bridgehampton, where he was spotted “having fun, he was just chilling,” according to another source. “He was in good spirits. I didn’t see him talking to any women.”
