Alix Earle Shades Alex Cooper at 'Earle Meets World' Premiere, Saying 'Hers Are Getting Canceled, So, It Is What It Is'

Alix Earle is finally commenting on her reported beef with Alex Cooper.

At the L.A. premiere of Earle Meets World, she threw shade at Cooper while talking to Entertainment Tonight, saying, "I'm happier just to, like, focus on the premiere and having the show out there. And, you know, hers are getting canceled, so, it is what it is."

Before that, Earle also mentioned how it felt to finally address "the Alex Cooper situation" on camera, saying, "You know, I'm happy that I said my piece and whatever."

Meanwhile, her sister, Ashtin, talked about how she supported Earle during that whole drama in the same interview, saying, "Oh, I mean, I just have to be there for Alix no matter what."

She continued, "She was a little stressed during this time [laughs], but, you know, it's just being there for her and maybe saying 'Don't post that TikTok' when she might have wanted to."

Earle contributed to this, saying with a chuckle, "Everyone's like, 'Alix, put your phone down.' I'm like, 'Okay,'" to which Ashtin added, "You know, when you rewrite an angry text, I'm like, 'Put the phone down!'"

The host of the interview podcast "Call Her Daddy," Cooper, built a podcast network and made Earle her first recruit.

Earle's "Hot Mess" podcast was hosted on Cooper's Unwell Podcast Network.

However, after 18 months, it was abruptly announced in March 2025 that the show was leaving.

The partnership dissolved, and neither party provided a clear explanation as to why.

In April this year, Cooper took to social media to address the rumors of their rift, saying in a video on TikTok, "Hey girl, the passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things — I’ve got to call you out here."

She continued, "You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.”

At the time, Earle responded to her clip in the comment section, “Okay on it.”

Months later, in July, Earle finally addressed the beef on Time Magazine, saying, “It’s something I’m going to talk about on the show,” referring to her Netflix series, Earle Meets World.

“That was one of the things in the beginning they wanted me to talk about, and I really wasn't comfortable sharing,” Earle continued. “Then everything unfolded the way it did while we were filming.”

She said, “There was a serious struggle behind the scenes of emotions, and my family showed up for me. Those moments that sometimes seem so fun for people online, but are hard behind the scenes—I am happy that we were able to capture that.”
