New York Fashion Week was finally back in-person again after a long 18 months, and this year brought all of the glitz and glam we've been missing. But between the models, celebs, trends and designer shows, a new aspect of our fabulous Fashion Week was born.

NYFW: The Shows decided to make yoga and mindful movement a priority at this year's 2021 fashion-filled week by having its first-ever official wellness partner. And who better to fit this designer shoe than everybody's favorite A-list activewear and lifestyle brand, Alo Yoga.

NYFW: The Shows x Alo Wellness Dept. began on Thursday, September 9, with an immersive, invite-only event at Spring Studios in Tribeca. The exclusive experience offered several wellness touch-points, including a Kundalini yoga class and a rooftop meditative sound bath. The week of wellness continued the next day with ear seeding acupressure, intuitive readings, astrology card readings, aura photos and custom wellness lattes — a must-have during such an exciting, but tiring week of work!

Alo also hosted a slew of events at its New York-based sanctuaries located in Flatiron and SoHo, Monday, September 6, through Sunday, September 12. Attendees at the SoHo location got to experience a Wellness Gifting Suite full of the brand's beloved skincare collection, Alo Glow System. While at their Flatiron location, guests participated in mindful movement through daily yoga, meditation and breath-work classes.

Between the peaceful wellness practices and gifting of their perfect products, Alo joined in on the afterparty fun with an invite-only night of dinner and drinks at Sutra — Alo's rooftop restaurant at their Flatiron sanctuary.

The L.A.-based brand did it right with Matthew Kenney Cuisine-curated vegan coursed passed trays, Casamigos-crafted Vitality Cocktails, Rumor-poured rosé and Alo-branded Polaroid pictures taken of all the gorgeous guests.

The star-studded guest-list was full of notables VIPs, including co-founder of Alo Yoga Danny Harris, singer G-Eazy, socialite Amelia Gray Hamlin, model and former Victoria's Secret Angel Lais Ribeiro, former NBA player Joakim Noah and more.

The fame-filled night was full of fun, music, mingling, dancing and — of course — photos, as Alo and their Fashion Week friends celebrated an extremely successful first partnership with NYFW: The Shows x Alo Wellness Dept.
