Tiger Woods Called Donald Trump Post-Crash

Tiger Woods reportedly called Donald Trump after crashing his vehicle on March 27.
In the bodycam footage, shared by a news outlet, Woods, 50, is wearing the same blue collared shirt that he's seen in his mugshot after being arrested for a DUI on March 27.
Woods was uncuffed and permitted to sit in the vehicle before officers asked him to perform a field sobriety test. At one point, the professional athlete was seen pacing along a narrow, two-lane road near his home before officers asked him to remain close by.
“Thank you so much. All right. You got it. Bye," he said on the phone, before telling the officer, "Yeah, I was just talking with the President.”
Tiger Woods Was Charged With DUI on March 27

Tiger Woods flipped over his Land Rover while trying to avoid a pickup truck carrying a pressure cleaner trailer.
Woods was charged with a DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test after flipping his Land Rover while trying to avoid "a pickup truck pulling a pressure cleaner trailer." He pleaded not guilty to all charges and requested via his attorney permission to leave the country for treatment.
The professional golfer claimed that he was distracted by his phone and changing the radio station, not realizing that a car had moved into his lane, and he wasn't able to slow down in time.

Tiger Woods Refused Urinalysis Test After Crash

Tiger Woods breathalyzer test came back negative, but the golf star refused a urinalysis test.
Woods had "two loose hydrocodone pills in his pocket," with officers noting that he looked "lethargic and slow," according to the affidavit.
His eyes were notably "bloodshot and glassy," as seen in his mugshot, and he showed "severe signs of impairment."
Though his breathalyzer test came back negative, the dad-of-two confirmed that he took "a few" prescription medications and refused a urinalysis test.
Donald Trump Reacted to Tiger Woods' Crash

Tiger Woods is currently dating Donald Trump's former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump.
Trump, 79, responded to Woods' arrest shortly after the crash, telling reporters that he felt "so badly" about the situation.
"He's got some difficulty. There was an accident, and that's all I know," the president, who awarded Woods the Congressional Medal of Freedom in 2019, said. “A very close friend of mine, he's an amazing person, an amazing man. But some difficulty."
The crash has also caused tension in Tiger's relationship with Donald's former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump, who was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018.
"This is not just irresponsible, it's dangerous. She needs some reassurance that this is not happening again," an insider said of her reaction. "If he can't fix this, she will 100 percent walk. She's trying to make that clear without it sounding like an ultimatum, but obviously it kind of is."
