Blake Moynes Seemingly Unfollows Katie Thurston After She Reveals John Hersey Romance
After it emerged that Katie Thurston is dating John Hersey, it seems her ex Blake Moynes unfollowed her.
Page Six reported that the hunk unfollowed his ex on social media. He popped the question to the 30-year-old during season 17 of The Bachelorette. However, their engagement was short-lived and they called it off in October.
"It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently," the former flames announced at the time. "We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision."
Fans may remember that Hersey also competed for Thurston's heart on the reality show but he was sent home during week two.
"It’s known Katie and John became close friends post-season," her rep told Page Six. "John has been there for her through all the major changes in her life, and they are excited to explore this newly found romantic connection."
An insider told Us Weekly that the 31-year-old is "blindsided" by the news of his ex-fiancée's new romance.
Fans raised eyebrows when the bank marketing manager dedicated "Begin Again" by Taylor Swift to the 27-year-old on the final day of her "12 Days of Messy" challenge on Instagram. Earlier this month, the brunette beauty began dedicating songs from Swifts' album Red to different contestants from her time on the show.
