Christina Aguilera wowed the audience when she performed a medley of her biggest hits — with several costume changes in between. She was then presented with the first-ever Music Icon Award.
"I have always strived for my music to communicate messages of empowerment, whether it's speaking my own truths or giving voice to those unable to do so on their own," the singer said. "Believing in yourself is often the biggest obstacle of all, and throughout the years I've heard your stories about the impact of songs like 'Beautiful,' 'Fighter,' 'Can't Hold Us Down,' and yes, even 'Dirrty.' Thank you for your stories."
Scarlett Johansson won Best Female Movie Star of 2021. "Ten-plus years ago when I first started my journey with Marvel, I didn't know whether or not audiences would like my portrayal of this beloved character. So really owe this all to you guys," the Black Widow star said. "I also have to mention the badass women that I worked with on this film: our filmmaker Kate Shoreland, our leader, my amazing co-stars Florence Pugh and Rachel Weisz and our producer Victoria Alonzo. Thank you guys so much."
Paris Jackson presented Keeping Up With the Kardashians with the Reality Show of 2021 Award. Kim — who also won 2021's Best Reality TV Star — Khloé Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner accepted the award on their family's behalf. "This is a bittersweet moment for us because you guys have voted for us on our last season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kim said during the acceptance speech.
Tom Hiddleston looked dapper in a tweed suit with a matching tie. The Thor actor won Male TV Star of 2021, and Loki won for the Show of 2021.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show won Daytime Talk Show. "It means more to me especially now," DeGeneres said. "This is our final season so to all the people who voted and to everyone that I have worked with for the past 19 years, we are a family. I love all of you. I'm grateful and thank you for supporting me for all these 19 years that we've been doing the show and the show has been the greatest experience of my life. I have enjoyed every bit of it."
Cardi B presented Halle Berry with the People's Icon Award. "The only reason I have been here for 30 years, still working and doing what I love on my own terms, redefining myself decade after decade is because of all of you. Every single one of you. You allow me to be myself," the Catwoman star told her fans.
