Britney Spears is turning to her own methods after a bad round of Botox has her avoiding the doctor's office.
"I have to take [it] into my hands and do my own thing for myself," Spears, 44, said in a video posted to her Instagram on Tuesday, August 11.

Britney Spears used a facial massager after refusing to seek medical attention following a botched Botox job.
In the clip, the "Toxic" singer used a facial massager, which is typically used to reduce puffiness and relax tight facial muscles, all over her face.
She explained that she received a bad round of Botox that "really messed up" her face, but refused to seek medical attention as she "hated going to the doctor."
"I found my own gadgets now !!! Dr Spears !!! What if I was actually advanced lol 😂😂😂," Spears concluded.
Britney Spears Flaunted High-End Skin Routine
Britney Spears explained that she used a Chanel moisturizer on her face.
Spears went on to show off her skincare routine, which included high-end products from Chanel.
"It's all empty because I've used it all, but I love it," she told her followers as she rubbed lotion on her cheeks. "Let's put a little more on there, I like it."

Britney Spears Accused Her Maid of Being a Paparazzo
Britney Spears made serious accusations against her employee on August 9, claiming she believed he was a paparazzo.
Though Spears gave no further context, the video came days after she claimed that a maid in her home was actually a paparazzo getting "paid" to get details about her private life.
The Crossroads actress shared a video of herself dancing in a black mini-skirt on August 9, in which a man in the background could be seen vacuuming her home.
"See the secret paparazzi hired by media to say he’s a maid n [sic] clean Britney Spears home n paid BIG TIME to let paps know when n where she is going so they can do f----- up photos of her with [sic] making her look like she has six tumors around her neck like a football player…" she alleged in the caption.

Britney Spears said paparazzi take the 'worst pictures' of her.
"His food was Extremely good .. I was f------ clueless!!!!" she continued. "Nice serve a------- but u just wait …….. my f------ father in heaven n h--- btw will bring u idiots to ur knees !!!!"
Though the employee has yet to be confirmed as a member of the paparazzi, Spears has had her run-ins with photographers over the years and has blasted them several times during her career.
"I just don't like the way paparazzi always like [take] the worst pictures in the whole world. It's so offensive and so incredibly mean," the "Toxic" crooner said on social media in 2025. "That's why I don't like America. I never have, never will. Sorry folks, I'm sorry."
