Christine Brown Says She & Kody Brown 'Want Different Things In Our Relationship' In 'Sister Wives' Recap
Christine Brown had an emotional conversation with her estranged husband Kody Brown in the latest episode of Sister Wives.
During the Sunday, December 5, episode, Kody met up with Christine to talk to her about staying in Arizona — but the recently single mom wouldn't budge after her estranged husband pleaded his case.
"We want different things in our relationship," Christine said in a confessional. "We want a different kind of relationship. I don’t even want to talk to him right now, to be honest with you."
The 52-year-old apologized for how "harshly" he dismissed her desire to move to Utah. (Christine expressed her wish to move back to Utah last season, and was immediately shot down by her fellow housewives.) While the 49-year-old told him she accepted his apology, Christine later said in a confessional that she did not believe "a word that's coming out of his mouth," People reported.
"I don't know if I can ride this emotional rollercoaster, okay?" Christine said after her former husband told her the family would not move to Utah. "I cannot ride the emotional rollercoaster."
Kody tried to get Christine to "see better reasons to stay" in Arizona so she wouldn't "feel trapped by the rest of the family's decisions," but Christine maintained she has family in Utah, adding that it "feels like home."

Christine said there were "other reasons" behind why she wanted to leave Arizona — but didn't disclose them. She also told Kody she was "not ready" for her home to be built on their Coyote Pass property.
"I'm not going to talk to you," Christine tearfully told Kody after he asked why she was so set on returning to Utah.
"He's not even my friend right now. Why would I talk to him about things that are close to my heart if he's not even my friend? I think we just want..." she said in a confessional. "It feels like a bit of a crossroads and I don't know what to do."
"Why would I want to live on the same property with a dysfunctional marriage where right over there he’s got a full functioning marriage?" she said during the episode, per HollywoodLife, seemingly referring to his romance with Robyn. "Who in her right mind would ever want to live like that?"
"If mine and Kody’s relationship were better and we both wanted the same type of relationship — a full marriage — I could handle staying here a lot easier," Christine admitted.
Last month, Christine announced she and Kody had split up. The former flames share children Aspyn, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11. In light of the couple's split, an insider revealed their divorce could be credited to how devoted Kody has been to fourth wife Robyn for "the past five or six years. That hasn’t changed at all."
