Conor McGregor Slams Machine Gun Kelly Following Scuffle At VMAs, UFC Champ Says He Doesn't Fight 'Little Vanilla Boy Rappers'
Conor McGregor had some choice words for Machine Gun Kelly.
The MMA fighter, 33, almost showed off his fighting skills at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 12, after an altercation with Kelly, 32, broke out on the red carpet.
However, McGregor remarked he didn't consider the confrontation to be a fight by any means when asked about the scuffle. "Nothing happened with me. I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean," he told Entertainment Tonight. "I certainly don't fight little vanilla boy rappers."
When asked about what went down during the commotion, McGregor insisted that “absolutely nothing” happened.
“I don’t even know the guy,” he continued. “I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”
Kelly had less to say, as he refused to comment to Variety’s Marc Malkin backstage after the near-brawl. Fox chimed in, insisting, “We’re not allowed to say.”

As OK! previously reported, the “Bloody Valentine” singer got into it with the UFC champ while on the red carpet and the two “had to be pulled apart.”
While a source claimed that photographers became “worried MGK and Meghan wouldn’t walk” after the incident, the steamy duo didn’t seem to be thrown off their game.
Kelly, who sported a bright red two-piece suit, couldn't keep his hands off theTransformers actress, who showed up to the event wearing a fully sheer nude gown that exposed her sparkly underwear.
Later in the night, Fox, 35, gave a warm introduction to her rapper boyfriend, alongside Kourtney Kardashian, who cheered on Travis Barker before the two rockers performed together on stage.
“New York, I need you to get super extra loud for our future baby daddies,” Fox said before the performance, causing the crowd to erupt.
Meanwhile, Kardashian matched the Blink-182 drummer's punk style for the night, as she stepped out in a black leather dress with a front-corset, and her beau flaunted a black blazer with silver spikes on the shoulders.
