Charleston has always known how to do charm, but now it can also do festive.
This holiday season, that Southern charm reaches new heights inside the Sewing Down South Holiday Suite at the Emeline Hotel, where festive design meets low-country southern luxury in a collaboration between one of the city’s most stylish hotels and Bravo’s Southern Charm star Craig Conover.
OK! checked in to experience the one-of-a-kind suite that’s bringing a fresh dose of holiday cheer to Charleston and we're pleased to report back that the holiday cheer is very much alive and well down south this festive season.
A Holiday Suite with a Southern Charm.

Designed in partnership with Sewing Down South, Conover’s popular home and lifestyle brand, the Emeline’s Collectors Suite has been completely transformed for the holiday season.
The suite is filled to the brim with plush pillows and decorative accents from Sewing Down South’s Nutcracker Collection, a whimsical yet refined range featuring embroidered nutcrackers, candy cane motifs, and rich seasonal hues. A fully dressed Christmas tree twinkles in the corner, while soft throws and hand-sewn quilts invite you to curl up on the couch and stay awhile.
Guests can spin holiday classics on the vintage record player, indulge in nightly “Santa turndown” service complete with cookies, milk, and carrots for the little ones, or opt for a build-your-own boozy hot chocolate or eggnog cart for a grown-up twist on nostalgia.
In true Sewing Down South fashion, every detail has been carefully chosen by Craig himself to make guests feel both at home and immersed in the holiday spirit.
Craig Conover’s Charleston Comes to Life

The suite experience comes complete with pillows, cookies and even a build-your-own boozy hot chocolate or eggnog cart.
It’s not just the décor that gives this stay its personal touch. Guests are greeted with a handwritten note from Craig himself, along with his curated “Weekend Guide to Charleston” — complete with dining tips, shopping recommendations, and a coveted reservation at his and fellow Southern Charm castmate Austen Kroll’s restaurant, By the Way.
When OK! stopped by for dinner, it was clear why the restaurant has become a favorite among locals and fans alike. The vibe is elevated yet approachable, blending modern Southern flavors with a playful energy that mirrors its owners.
Dining at the “owner’s table,” a special perk for those booking the suite, makes the experience even more personal — and yes, the inclusion of Craig’s own homegrown honey is as sweet a touch as it sounds.
The collaboration also includes an exclusive private shopping session at the Sewing Down South flagship store, located just a short stroll away on King Street. This visit offers guests a behind-the-scenes look at Craig’s design world, complete with a glass of champagne and plenty of opportunity to browse or shop your favorite holiday pieces — many of which can also be purchased directly from the suite via in-room QR codes.
As Craig puts it: “Working with Emeline to create a Sewing Down South Hotel Suite has been such a blast. I’ve always wanted people to not just shop our pillows but experience them in a real, meaningful way. Partnering with one of my favorite hotels in Charleston lets us do exactly that.”
