What is Drake Cooking?

He will be live on Saturday, August 8, at 8:00 p.m. ET. The best part? It's the prize pool announced for the event, which is estimated to be as high as $1 million in prizes. Considering that Drake is a super fan during his streams it is a great opportunity to have some fun, watch him do his magic, and if lucky, earn some prizes in the process. Let's see if you got this right? The $1 million prize is intended for all the viewers of the Kick broadcast. For the lucky ones, at least. Prizes as these are what Drake partnership with Stake is all about.
If you still haven't heard about this giveaway, you've joined us at the right moment. With a few more days to go, you have enough time to tune in. The stream will go on Drake's official Kick channel. The biggest individual reward on the evening is going to be $50,000. The lucky winner will also get the opportunity to be presented live during the stream. While Drizzy is going to be in the middle of the event, it is also a Stake show. It is all a part of their ongoing anniversary celebrations which will only intensify in the coming weeks and months as the company approaches its 10th anniversary.
The Paste & Future of Drake Streams and Giveaways
Drake is an artist who never sleeps. He is all over the place in regard to both his music and different other endeavours. In the midst of all of that he still has time for some Kick streaming. Of course, he loves the promotion, but it is also a part of his deal with Stake. The upcoming giveaways is a part of his longstanding collaboration with Stake online casino and sportsbook. When everything is arranged, Champagnepapi takes it to his Kick channel and ensures fun for all of his viewers with large scale betting, and even bigger rewards.
As we mentioned, this is not the first time that he's doing a live stream which will be centred around his Stake adventure, and will be followed by a lot of gambling, and even more prizes shared with fans. Whenever Drake is on Kick, the platform receives the most views. It's no wonder this is the case as the Canadian rapper has over 370,000 followers on the platform. Based on the stats from one of his previous streams, at one point there were 220,000 live viewers watching him online at the peak of the Kick viewership.
The fans on the Kick platform and beyond it have started to wonder when Drake will be back. You could say that he's been absent for too long, as his last major giveaway on Kick/Stake was last year for Christmas. And yes, while he was absent for too long, you can't take it against him, as that time around he streamed for three consecutive days, between one hour and two and a half hours per day. On average, during those streams, he had between 25,000 and 32,000 viewers at all times. While that stream had plenty of top moments, the one that stands out and is still talked about to today is the moment when Drake gifted his streaming partner for the day, a fellow creator BenDaDonnn, with a customized Rolls Royce.
Giveaways and Drake go hand in hand, and almost every time he live streams, there's a giveaway attached. He has been present on Kick since 2023 and one of his first giveaways was in the same year, with the livestream peaking at 105,000 viewers. With knowing all of this, you have no other options than to tune in on Saturday, and Watch Drake stream on Kick. While Kick and Stake are a big part of what's currently on schedule for Drake, as we said, he is a person that's all over the place and it is hard to catch him on what he's about to do next.

What's Drake Doing Since The Last Kick Stream & Giveaway?
The upcoming Kick livestream and giveaway is just the continuation of Drake's life, where he always manages to take the centre stage. One of the reasons why all fans of the Canadian rapper should listen and watch him stream is the fact that he often uses this platform to announce big events coming up, and makes a few things clear about his past actions. You already know that he has been quite active in 2026 as far as his music goes, and the levels of entertainment he achieved are cloud high.
Do we even have to tell you that he released an album called ICEMAN. This masterpiece peaked at No1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, and Billboard Hot 100, and Billboard 200. He also dropped two more albums, a surprise addition in Habibti and Maid of Honour. If you've been following Drizzy and streams he has been having prior to the album, it becomes clear that he uses streaming platforms to promote his music further.
ICEMAN was not your conventional album. First, it was teased for months. Then, it didn't come out as your standard release. Instead, the rollout was introduced via live episodes on Kick, followed by live city stunts, video premiers, and cross sharing through platforms such as Kick, Twitch, and YouTube. The campaign was unique and the end product did not disappoint. A proof that not everything can be perfect in life, was given to Champagnepapi in July of this year, when his official YouTube channel was hacked, and someone streamed Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us on it. The two artists have had a feud that already lasted for a few years, and now it appears that it is still not over.
In addition to this slight inconvenience, Drake rolled out some of his almost forgotten sports betting history. Drake curse was also reinvigorated during this summer, as Drake was active, wagering on sports events such as UFC and World Cup. He was not holding back when he laid down a bet on The Notorious to win, at 2.85 odds, with a $1 million wager. A loss by TKO for McGregor not only lost Drake a million, but might have been the last UFC bout for Conor.
Later that month, Drizzy decided to wager on the World Cup final, and showed the world that Drake Curse is well and alive. He placed $1.5 million wager on Argentina to win the World Cup, on 3.45 odds for a potential win of $5,175,000 but after Spain put on a clinic he lost $2.5 million in a matter of eight days. For all of us following sports and enjoying some sports betting Drake Curse is not back, it actually never went. Yet, despite these losses, Drake is no less generous than he ever was before.
Drake's Giveaway Before Kick Giveaway
You may or may not like Drake, but there's no arguing that he is a generous person. The Kick live streaming giveaway will be a fun endeavour, and one that's sponsored by stake, but that's not everything Drizzy has been doing these days. He's been uplifting and giving back to women in his life. And not only those who are personally close to him. On August 4th, he hosted the third annual Strong Women, Stronger Drinks event in Toronto.
This is an event where Drake serves as a host to female entrepreneurs, influencers, and women from different spheres in Toronto, and gives back to them as a token of his appreciation for everything they do. Those who have been invited to Casa Loma mansion have all received a welcome gift which was rumoured to be $1,000 in cash. Drizzy made it clear that this event was not an original idea, but that it was all inspired by an event he witnessed way back in the period between 2007/08.
Talking about Strong Women, Stronger Drinks, Champagnepapi said: "There was an event by a lovely woman. She used to do an event called What Women Want. It was essentially women gathering to network, to socialize and to be a man at the event, you had to work. I always loved that aspect of it. We would show up and work the event because that’s what the event was about."
Based on his previous experience he created Strong Women, Stronger Drinks, which is an event that works on simple principles. First, there's an invite list that gets sent out to all attendees. It is sent to women who excel in their respective fields. For Drake these are all women in between those who are either simply grinding or are trying to scent to the moon. If you're somewhere in between it's fine too, according to Drake. The goal is not only for the women to gain support and gifts from Drizzy but to speak among themselves, share ideas, learn, and above all else have fun during the evening.
For Drake, the message and the goal of the evening were simple: " We’ll do some giveaways and hopefully change some lives and then we’ll go inside and get drunk and do what we’re supposed to do." For Drake, what he was supposed to do was gifting some of the attendees with prizes in excess of $50,000 and $100,000. The 6 God did not stop on the monetary rewards, but also handed out a brand new BMW, while none other than Kayla Grey, who works for Toronto Raptors as a reporter got herself a Mercedes Benz G-wagon.
Drake knows how to make a giveaway. For a man that received so much from his fans after releasing ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR back in May, and critical acclaim by topping Billboard 200 with three different titles, a bit of giveaways is the least he could do. Stay tuned at Kick for his next big one.
