George Clooney arrived to the 2026 Venice International Film Festival by boat.
The 65-year-old actor looked suave in a fitted navy blue suit and crisp white shirt as he arrived by a private wooden water taxi at the exclusive international festival.
In typical Clooney fashion, he left a few shirt buttons undone, completing his effortlessly cool look with aviator sunglasses.
George Clooney Set to Be Honored With Lifetime Achievement Award

George Clooney traveled to Italy with his wife, Amal Clooney, and their two children.
The Ocean's Eleven star is set to receive the prestigious Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement during the festival's opening ceremony on Wednesday, September 2.
Clooney arrived in the Italian city earlier that day with his wife, Amal Clooney, and their twins, Alexander and Ella, 9.

George and Amal Clooney married in 2014.
During a press conference at the festival, Clooney opened up about his plans with his wife, 48, in the romantic city.
"We’re going to go out to dinner and this is a town where you take a boat underneath some little tiny arches," the Up in the Air star shared, per People. "Suddenly you’re in the middle of a restaurant that has four tables and the guy who runs it comes out and sits with you."
George Clooney Spoke About the 'Failures' of His Career

George Clooney said he and his wife were going to find a 'fun place to have dinner.'
He continued, "It’s just a really optimistic, beautiful place. We’re going to go find a fun place to have dinner, my wife and I. She’s going to be wearing a very nice dress, so we’ll have to be careful where we go."
Clooney also praised the event as a film festival that was "very dear" to him before speaking at length about the "immense successes" and "massive failures" of his career.
George Clooney Recalled 'Running Out of the Theater' With Catherine Zeta-Jones

George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones starred in the 2003 film 'Intolerable Cruelty.'
Clooney recalled one of those "failures" when discussing his experience attending the film festival premiere of 2003's Intolerable Cruelty, in which he played a high-profile divorce lawyer opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones'.
“I remember I was here with Catherine Zeta-Jones for Intolerable Cruelty, and none of the jokes played here,” the Ticket to Paradise actor explained. “And it was over, and usually people stand up and applaud, and everybody just turned and looked at us. And I turned to Catherine and I said, ‘Run.’ And we ran out of the theater.”
