While reflecting on her time as an opener on the Grammy winner's sold-out Eras Tour in 2023 and 2024, she described the experience as a "masterclass."

On the podcast, Abrams heaped praise on the "Bad Blood" singer and her tour that made her a billionaire.
She said, "You get to watch this titan of the industry, top down, make the experience for every single person who ever attended, every single person who works to make it happen, the best version of the experience that it could be."

She went on to say that the tour had "very summer camp vibes," adding, "I learned on a personal level that the show always goes on no matter what."
"You would never know if she was sick. You would never know if her heart was aching," the "Close to You" singer praised Swift.
"She's just giving it everything and doing it with grace and warmth," she added.
Abrams continued, "She's just this fiercely brilliant, singular kind of alien. But she's a person."

Rumors swirled about Gracie Abrams alleged beef with Taylor Swift.
Previously, there was speculation about Abrams' alleged beef with Swift, which gained more traction when Abrams shared a picture of the dress she wore to Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding in an Instagram carousel, which also included an image of Swift's ex, Joe Alwyn, per E! News.
The outlet also reported on fan speculation that Abrams' track "Death Wish" was apparently about an alleged fallout with Swift. In the song, she sings about how a friend's "light of a million suns burns through people."

Recently, the songwriter, who has worked with both Abrams and Swift, told Billboard, "It was written at a time when [Abrams] was writing about a friend’s ex, being in a bad relationship."
He went on to emphasize that the song is "definitely not" about the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer, saying, "So it was kind of about that person, I think. I wouldn’t even actually know who that person was."

On her The Secret of Us Tour, when she first debuted that song in March 2025, she told the audience, "This song is about a friend of mine who recently was dating a mega narcissist."
"A sincere friend of mine was recently dating someone who kind of sucked," she shared at the time, per E! News. "And I was listening to them talk about it a lot, and so this song is about that."
