Is Harry Hamlin Concerned About 18-Year Age Gap Between Daughter Amelia Hamlin & Scott Disick? His True Feelings Revealed
Harry Hamlin is putting in his two cents when it comes to his daughter's dating life.
Regarding Amelia Hamlin’s relationship with Scott Disick, specifically the 18-year age gap between the new couple, the reality star father seems to be a bit concerned.
“The issue that’s most enduring is the age difference, which to me is odd,” Harry said during the Wednesday, July 7, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Harry, 69, compared his daughter’s new romance to his past relationship with Ursula Andress, with whom he shares a 41-year-old son Dimitri.
He admitted that there was quite an age difference between the pair at the time, noting that he was just 29 years old when Ursula was 44 at the time their son was born.
“I was 14 years younger than she when we had Dimitri. So I can’t really complain, right?” he questioned in the clip.
Harry has been married to Lisa Rinna since 1997, and together they share Delilah, 23, and Amelia, 20.
Rinna also recently opened up about her feelings when it comes to her daughter’s fling with the 38-year-old, which was also caught on an episode of RHOBH.

During the episode, she explained that the news caught her off guard. “It’s a 'what the f*ck' moment,” she recounted. “She’s 19! He’s 37 with three kids, hello!”
Rinna later became more supportive of the couple, saying that “it is what it is” on an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in May.
“He’s more handsome in person, and he was very nice,” she said at the time. “We had a very nice time. He met Harry, and there you go.”
This isn’t the first time that the Talentless founder has become involved with someone much younger. His relationship with Amelia, which began in October 2020, follows his split from Sophie Richie, 22, who was also younger than him.
Disick himself has addressed the age difference, claiming that he’s not seeking out younger girls on purpose. During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion, he explained that he doesn’t “go out looking for young girls.”
“They happen to be attracted to me because I look young,” he joked. “That’s what I’m telling myself.”
Disick shares three children with ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, 42: Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign 6.
