Instagram model Mercedes Morr has died at the age of 33 years old.
The cause of death has yet to be revealed, however, a statement shared on the account of @htownciara read, “Thank you for all the prayers and calls in regards to Mercedes. Her parents are asking that you respect the family. We know everyone is concerned. We will update everyone when all the information is confirmed. Thank you.”
The Houston native — whose Instagram handle was @missmercedesmorr — had a huge presence on social media. Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion were just two of her 2.6 million Instagram followers. The Sun also reports Morr was featured on OnlyFans.
Tory Lanez took to Instagram on Monday, August 30, to repost a photo shared by the late social media star, writing, “Rest in peace Queen.”
Morr’s last Instagram post — shared on August 17 — featured her modeling a beige ‘fit by FashionNova that she captioned, “Different angles but my favorite the back” with a peach emoji.

After Morr’s passing was announced, fans and loved ones took to the comment section to share their condolences.
“Mercedez I’m so sorry you did not deserve this at all. You had your whole life ahead of you. I remember all our times we had and you have always been the sweetest woman in the world," one follower wrote. "God bless you and your family. I’m sorry Mercedez rest in heaven."
Bow Wow commented, “Stop playing we just spoke on thurs don’t do me like this yo! Naaa”. The 34-year-old (real name: Shad Moss) also shared a video of Moor dancing at an event on his Instagram Story. “THIS ONE HURT! JUST SPOKE TO YOU ON THURSDAY,” he wrote alongside the clip, using #HTown and#loveyouforever hashtags.
