Jennifer Garner had a grand old time at the Academy Awards without her rumored fiancé John Miller by her side — and a source says it’s because the on-off pair are cooling it again.
“Jennifer and John have dialed things back and are taking a bit of a breather,” confides the source. “John would love to be with Jen 24/7, but she tends to set boundaries.”
Garner, 49, and the CaliBurger CEO, 44, reunited last April after calling it quits on their two-year romance in 2020, “but recently, they’re not spending nearly as much time together,” the source spills. “They’ve also stopped talking about getting married, which is a red flag to a lot of their friends.”

So was the Catch and Release actress' behavior at the Oscars, where she raised eyebrows by looking especially cozy with former Alias costar Bradley Cooper, the source adds.
“Even if she was just having fun, it doesn’t bode well for her and John,” continues the source. “Word is, she’s reevaluating their relationship. She really likes John, but she just doesn’t seem ready to commit anytime soon.” So much for Yes Day...
The low-key couple first sparked rumors of romance in 2018 after Miller's divorce. Miller was previously married to violinist Caroline Campbell, from 2005 until they called it quits in 2018. The former couple share two children together.
Garner also got divorced in 2018 from ex-hubby Ben Affleck. with whom she shares Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9.
The on-again-off-again lovebirds were previously rumored to be engaged, but have yet to confirm any news. However, Garner has reacted to the news of her ex's engagement to fiancée Jennifer Lopez.
"Jennifer [Garner] and Ben have been broken up for a very long time and there is no reason whatsoever that she would be upset about this," a source spilled. "She is happy if he is sober and he is doing well, both of which he is and both of which are of utmost importance to JLo."
