The mom-of-three was pictured alongside her 9-year-old — who she shares with ex Ben Affleck — while the pair poked around for fresh produce.
Later that day, Garner shared a quote on Instagram that read, "may I be happy, may I be well, may I be safe, may I live with ease." The post was captioned, "No matter where my mind wanders, this is always the prayer" with a red heart emoji.
The cryptic, albeit inspirational, message comes on the heels of her ex making headlines with girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.
On Saturday, October 9, the old flames — who rekindled their romance earlier this year — packed on the PDA in New York City while celebrating Affleck's new film The Last Duel.
The on-again pair stunned on the red carpet at the film's premiere, where they couldn't keep their hands off each other.
The Gone Girl star recently claimed that he has been living his best life since reconciling with the "On the Floor" singer, telling Extra TV, "I'm very happy. It is a very happy time in my life. Life is good."
