Julia Fox was spotted in a heated argument with New York socialite Libbie Mugrabi while at dinner during Paris Fashion Week.
The Uncut Gems actress was out with a group of friends at Hotel Hostes on Tuesday, January 25, when she allegedly took offense to Mugrabi approaching her table and asking if she would agree to be photographed in fashion designer Celia Kritharioti’s clothing line.
The Libbie LLC founder claimed the 31-year-old snapped at her over the harmless request, telling her, "talk to my stylist".
“Julia was sitting in the restaurant with a group of people who were all in black, black lipstick, and looked like they had been dressed by the scary section of the Spirit Halloween store," Mugrabi told Page Six.
"When I asked if she would be photographed in my friend Celia’s designs, Fox seemed insulted and, after I spoke to people at her table, she said, ‘You are being very rude to my friend!’," she continued. "She also accused me of being inebriated, which I was not."
However, there are two sides to every story, and another witness dished to the outlet that it was Mugrabi who started the drama with Fox by rudely disrupting her dinner.
"Julia was having a private dinner and Libbie and her friends kept coming up to her table," the source explained of the public spat. "Approaching a table during dinner and asking for a paid engagement is not really appropriate."
"Julia never said, ‘Talk to my stylist.’ That’s just ridiculous," added the source. "Libbie was being rude to her friend, so Julia stood up for her friend. Libbie was wearing a trucker hat with the word ‘gaslight’ on it and that was literally what she was trying to do to Julia and her friends."
Mugrabi told the outlet she left without a fight. "I just said, ‘Bye, have a nice evening’ and walked away."
As OK! previously reported, the fashion model and new boyfriend Kanye West made their first red carpet appearance together as a couple at the Kenzo Fall/Winter 2022/2023 fashion show.
The No Sudden Move actress rocked a cropped denim jacket and a pair of low rise jeans that accentuated her slim waist and toned abs, while the "Gold Digger" rapper was careful to match with his new love, sporting an oversized denim coat and a pair of sunglasses.
