Kanye West's pal and far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos could be deported after he was detained by ICE.
The British media personality, 41, is facing a final order of removal after being apprehended in the New Orleans area and is being held in a Louisiana ICE holding facility, CBS News reported on Friday, August 28.

Kanye West was scheduled to perform in New Orleans on August 28.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) may remove a non citizen after they receive a final order of removal, per the organization's website.
The outlet reported that Yiannopoulos was in the area ahead of the rapper's scheduled concert at New Orlean's Caesars Superdome stadium on Friday, August 28.
Inside Milo Yiannopoulos' Connection to Kanye West
Milo Yiannopoulos resigned from his position as Kanye West's personal chief of staff in 2024.
Yiannopoulos is known for his public relationship with the "Heartless" rapper, 49, serving as his campaign advisor during his unsuccessful presidential run 2024.
He worked as the musician's personal chief of staff until he left the position that same year.
"I wish Ye every success in the future. I have some concerns about his new team, and hope he proceeds with caution," Yiannopoulos said in a statement to TMZ in May 2024, confirming his resignation.

Milo Yiannopoulos Said It's an 'Honor' to Work With Kanye West Despite Resignation
Milo Yiannopoulos reportedly left his employment under Kanye West due to the rapper's plans to launch ventures in the adult entertainment industry.
Though Yiannopoulos didn't elaborate on the details of West's "new team," the conservative personality cited moral issues with the formation of "Yeezy P---," an adult entertainment venture West hoped to launch
"I cannot be complicit in the production or dissemination of pornographic films and literature, for moral and religious reasons," he wrote in his resignation letter obtained by the outlet. "But also because such material and the kind of people invariably involved in its production represent an imminent danger to my life as a recovering addict and an unacceptable risk to my spiritual and physical health as a former homosexual."
He didn't close the door on a possible reunion with the Chicago native, adding, "If, at some time in the future, the company publicly and permanently abandoned any plans to produce, distribute or profit from obscene content, it would be an honor to serve you again."
Milo Yiannopoulos Voiced His Support for ICE
Milo Yiannopoulos asked for 'on the spot deportations' for non citizens who couldn't 'prove' they were in the U.S. legally.
Yiannopoulos is known for his right-wing views, previously voicing his support for ICE in June 2025, claiming California needed ICE check points at "at supermarket entrances, gas stations, strip malls, intersections and government buildings."
