Who Did Kate Middleton Blow a Kiss to at Wimbledon?
Kate, Princess of Wales, has blown a kiss at Wimbledon for the second year in a row!
Unlike in 2022, when the princess blew an air kiss to her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, the lucky recipient of the smoochy royal gesture this year is unknown.
On Sunday, July 16, the future queen attended the annual tennis championship along with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The mother-of-three is a longtime tennis fan, both as a participant in the sport and a spectator.
The princess made the super quick gesture while seated in the royal box, and all of her family was next to her, which rules them out. Her parents made an appearance at the tournament on July 12, which means the kiss was likely directed at Kate's fans or a friend or acquaintance.
This was also the first time that George and Charlotte came to the championship, but Prince Louis was nowhere to be found. Her Royal Highness told a ball boy at the event, Joel, that her youngest child is definitely a fan of the tournament. "He tries to practice the stands and how we stand at the back of the court and next to the players," Joel shared. It is believed that the rambunctious prince is still a bit too young to sit in the royal box at the match.

Wimbledon has a long, historic association with the British royal family. The Princess of Wales is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, which she received from Queen Elizabeth II in 2016.
Katharine, Duchess of Kent, is the one royal who is most closely associated with the yearly tournament when it comes to the British public. The retired duchess was a fixture at the event for decades, which now seems to be a role that the future queen is settling into.
Her mother-in-law, Diana, Princess of Wales, was also a fan of the prestigious sports gathering, and much like her daughter-in-law, she also became a fashion highlight every time she showed up.
