King Henry IX and Queen Meghan? This will likely never happen, even though the Duchess of Sussex reportedly feels that she would make a great British consort.

"Meghan wants to be the Queen, and she doesn’t want to be five in the succession [with Harry]," royal author Tom Bower dished.

Meghan Markle apparently is jealous of Kate Middleton since the future queen 'has everything' she wants.

"There’s only one way, and that’s the royal way. Kate is glowing, Kate is successful, Kate is popular — everything that Meghan wanted. Meghan could never trump Kate — absolutely not at all," he added when comparing the ex-actress to the real future queen. "Everything she tries undermines her status, and instead of going back to the privacy she said she needed and why she had to leave Britain — every time she steps out into the spotlight, she loses a bit more. She just cannot win."

Bower also revealed how the Montecito Duchess is "desperate for an endorsement from Dior," to the point that she is upset that "she hasn’t had one contract" from the influential fashion house. The Suits star was the subject of numerous headlines during the late spring of 2023 that she was soon-to-be the "Duchess of Dior" before the brand publicly squashed the rumor.

This insight comes after another commentator shared how the Princess of Wales uses her fashion choices to "avoid" attacks on Meghan and Prince Harry.

Both the Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales have opted for similar fashion choices.

"The royals wear [their] looks strategically. It is part of their role to not offend the King, the institution, the country, or the company that they're hosting or being hosted [by]," Jennifer Von Walderdorff told an outlet. "Depending on the occasion or engagement — they will ensure they are in keeping with the environment and remain either neutral or inoffensive."

Since senior royals do not comment on virtually anything, analysts have frequently looked for clues in their wardrobe as possible "digs" at their vocal opponents.

"But [for Kate] having a nefarious hidden agenda, this feels unlikely. To wear color in support of a charity, country, and celebration is 'on brand' with the royals in general," Walderdorff continued. "Kate will continue to wear strategically put-together looks, as it is simply her duty, more so now as a princess. From my perspective, there is no direct attack on Meghan and Harry, but more so playing by the rules, and [she] does that the best."

Meghan Markle would only have to curtsy to Kate, Princess of Wales, if Prince William was with her.

This also follows reports suggesting that Meghan does not want to return to Britain to avoid paying homage to her sister-in-law.

Although Kate technically outranks Meghan in the royal hierarchy, the Duchess of Sussex would only be required to curtsy to her if Prince William was next to her. For royal spouses not born of royal blood, their rank is determined by their husband and his particular status in the monarchy. William is the highest-ranking British royal behind his father, King Charles III, and his stepmother, Queen Camilla.
