Kelly Osbourne is feeling more herself these days, over one year on from the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
In a new wide-ranging interview with HELLO!, Kelly opened up about her grief — and the health issues that ensued, plus the criticism she received over her appearance.
Kelly Osbourne Didn't Cope With the Backlash Well

Kelly Osbourne was body shamed after the attending the BRIT Awards.
"I didn't navigate it – I wasn't well," she said of being criticized.
She continued, "How can you navigate something so cruel when you're so sick? I'm getting a lot better. I've got all the help I need, and I’m grateful for the support I have in my life."
The star has a great support system these days.
"[I have] this incredible team of people I’ve built around me who are not just my friends, because what you'll find when you're grieving is that people don't know how to handle it, and you do lose a lot of friends," she said. "But the ones who stick around are the real ones. You've got to fix the head before you can fix the body. It's a slow process. It's going to take me a minute. I'm not going to be fixed in a day. I'm not going to be fixed in one therapy session. This is a lifetime of work I've got to do and continue to do for the rest of my life."
The Body Shaming Kelly Osbourne Endured

Kelly Osbourne opened up about how she dealt with the criticism.
The body-shaming came to a head following Kelly's appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards, when the star appeared noticeably thinner.
After that, she took to Instagram Stories to write, "There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something. Kicking me while I'm down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most. None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character" (via Just Jared).
She continued, "I'm currently going through the hardest time of my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won't sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!"

Kelly Lost Her Dad Last Year

Ozzy Osbourne passed away in 2025.
The 41-year-old singer lost her father, the rocker Ozzy, in July 2025. Speaking with HELLO!, she opened up about grieving.
"It's been the hardest year of my life," she revealed. "I'll never be the person I was before my father died… a part of me died, too."
Kelly's Personal Life

Kelly Osbourne has a son with her ex.
The star has recently split up from her ex-fiancé Sid Wilson. A source told People earlier this month, "There is no secret that she’s not happy with him. They’ve had a lot of back and forth. They’re not together right now."
The two began dating in 2022 and welcomed their son Sidney together months later. Kelly has moved back to the U.K. from California with her kid.
