Kelly Ripa and Olivia Rodrigo reacted to Lola Consuelos' cheeky Instagram caption about her boyfriend, Cassius Kidston, after the couple shared a playful moment during a beach getaway.
Ripa responded with five red heart emojis, while Rodrigo wrote, "Hahahahha," after seeing Consuelos' caption about waking her sleeping boyfriend.
The playful exchange unfolded after Consuelos shared the photo on August 31, giving her famous mom and pop star friend an opportunity to weigh in.
Consuelos Turned a Beach Photo Into a Relationship Joke
Consuelos posted the photo during their beach vacation.
Consuelos' caption accompanied a photo of Kidston sleeping beside her during the couple's beach getaway.
"Should I wake him up and ask him when he knew he liked me?" she wrote.
The photo showed Consuelos posing in a red swimsuit beside Kidston, who appeared to be asleep on a beach chair.
Consuelos Previously Called Kidston Her Love
Consuelos recently shared a birthday post confessing her love for Kidston.
The playful caption came shortly after Consuelos celebrated Kidston's birthday with a much more romantic Instagram tribute.
"Happy birthday to my love in every lifetime. My sweet Cassius, with the biggest heart, the best smile, and the coolest dance moves. I LOVE our love," she wrote in July.
"You're forever my angel on this earth. I won the lottery with u," Consuelos continued. "Thank you, universe for bringing me my best friend!!!!!! The invisible string theory is a real thing!!!!"

Ripa Has Publicly Supported Their Relationship
Ripa has openly approved of Kidston's relationwhip with Consuelos.
Ripa has openly revealed how much she loves her daughter's relationship with Kidston. "I'm usually always smiling. So beautiful," she wrote in response to a photo Consuelos shared showing the pair on a beach vacation on August 22.
The talk show host also had warm words for Cassius on his birthday. Commenting on Consuelos' public tribute to Cassius, Ripa wrote, "Happy birthday to the gentlest of gentlemen. We love you Cassius. You too @theyoungestyung ♥️🎂🎉."
Their Story Dates Back to College
Consuelos and Kidston did not like each other at first.
Consuelos and Kidston first appeared together publicly in 2022 before becoming an official couple in 2023.
The pair attended New York University together before their relationship continued across the Atlantic after Consuelos moved to London.
Consuelos later explained that their connection was not exactly love at first sight. Speaking to People in 2025, she said, "We did not like each other when we first met."
She believed those early disagreements helped them develop a stronger relationship because they had already "got it all out of our systems" before becoming a couple.
Since then, Consuelos has occasionally shared glimpses of their romance online, including birthday tributes and vacation photos.
