Kim Zolciak Denies Allegations After 15-Year-Old Son Is Arrested on Felony Charges

Kim Zolciak is defending her 15-year-old son after his arrest on felony charges in Georgia.

The reality TV star’s son, whom she shares with Kroy Biermann, was arrested in Alpharetta on August 17 and charged with aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy tied to an alleged April 23 incident.

The teenager is being charged as an adult under Georgia’s SB440 law, which gives adult superior courts jurisdiction over teens ages 13 to 17 accused of certain violent felonies.

Zolciak, best known for The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy, rejected the allegations in a statement to Fox News.

“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling,” she said. “He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged.”

Zolciak said her son took and passed a polygraph test and that an examination found no DNA belonging to him.

“We are also aware that this individual has made similar allegations involving two other people, which raises serious concerns that deserve to be carefully examined,” she said.

“Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence,” she added. “At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation."

The alleged incident took place in a changing area at Life Time Fitness.

According to court documents, the alleged victim told police Zolciak’s son began flirting and joking with her before entering a changing room and saying, “hey, look at this.” She alleged that once she entered, he grabbed parts of her body, kissed her and ignored her saying “no.”

The documents also state that he did not scan into the gym that day but was visible on security camera footage.

The alleged victim was taken to a hospital on April 24 for a sexual assault examination, which found no male DNA in her mouth or v----- at that time, according to the documents.

Zolciak’s son is being held without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. A hearing is scheduled for September.

His attorney, Jason Sheffield, denied the allegations in a statement to Page Six.

“He is not only presumed innocent, but is in fact, innocent,” Sheffield said.
