Kourtney Kardashian just made pop culture history.
On Sunday, March 27, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 42, became the first member of her family to ever attend Hollywood's most prestigious award show as she stepped out to accompany her fiancé Travis Barker at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles for the 94th Academy Awards.
Kardashian and the Blink 182 rocker, 46, — who will be performing during the ceremony with singer-percussionist Sheila E., jazz pianist Robert Glasper, and musical director Adam Blackstone — matched outfits, both wearing black. The mother-of-three was in a vintage Mugler dress paired with AQUAZZURA pumps while Barker wore a Maison Margiela suit.
The soon-to-be married couple engaged in their signature PDA making sure to lock lips as cameras flashed when they made their way down the red carpet.
Despite her family attending many Oscars parties over the years — the Poosh founder is the first person in the Kardashian squad to attend the actual ceremony.
Earlier that day, Kardashian gave her followers on Instagram insight into how she was getting ready for the event as she snapped a picture of herself getting a luxurious facial. "Oscars prep with Beauty Sandwich," the reality star wrote while paying a visit to aesthetician Iván Pol (known as The Beauty Sandwich on social media).
The special appearance comes as Kardashian's ex Scott Disick recently revealed that he "can't stand being around," her beloved Barker — whom the Kourtney And Kim Take New York star got engaged to in October.
As OK! previously reported, an insider revealed that the Flip It Like Disick star, 38, can't handle being around the drummer. A source noted the reality star "despises Travis," but has been trying to make the best of it for the sake of his kids: Mason, 12, Penelope, 9 and Reign, 7. "Scott adores his kids and would do anything to make them happy."
The insider added that Disick and Barker are "not on friendly terms" and only spend time together "because the kids are around."
