Co-parenting at a distance. According to a new report, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's relationship is on the rocks, as rumors heat up that the reality star is headed towards an engagement to her longtime friend and rocker boyfriend Travis Barker.
"Scott and Kourtney have a tense relationship right now primarily because he's been focusing on his new life in Miami and because of Kourtney getting serious with Travis," said an insider. "They are barely speaking. It's hard for him to see Kourtney in love with someone else."
While there is no hostility between the two former flames, who share children Mason,11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6, the coparents are not as close knit as they once were. The source divulged that the two "aren't fighting by any means" but that their relationship has "has changed and they haven't spent much time together as a family recently."
Although there were no grand Instagram posts this weekend from the social media celeb, also known as 'Lord Disick' to fans and followers, he did "wish Kourtney a happy Mother's Day privately but is really distancing himself," the source said. "He doesn't want to interfere with her relationship."
And while their friendship may be slowly falling apart, Disick will always be part of the family. The Poosh founder and the outspoken reality star will continue to co-parent in the best way they can for their kids, with the insider saying, "They do connect about the kids often but that's about the extent of it currently. Scott will always be in Kourtney's life, it's just a different dynamic right now."

This shift in Kardashian and Disick's follows reports that Kardashian is getting increasingly serious with Blink-182 drummer Barker. As OK! exclusively reported, the brunette beauty is deeply in love with Barker and believes "that Travis is the man she's going to share her dreams with" and that Barker is "planning an ultra-romantic proposal."
The KUWTK star and the rock legend have been friends and neighbors for years. Reports emerged in January 2021 that the two were dating, and the two confirmed the relationship via Instagram on Valentines Day. The duo continued to grow closer over the past couple of months, going on romantic getaways, spending time with their children and showing off their love for each other all over Instagram.
Disick, who has always been a staple in the Kardashian clan — and who is also currently dating 19-year-old Amelia Hamlin — was noticeably absent from the famous family's Easter festivities this year, which led fans to wonder if there was drama between him and Kourtney due to her blossoming new relationship.
In the May 6 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which was filmed last year, the Flip It Like Disick star awkwardly proclaimed that he would "marry" Kardashian "right here, right now." But the health maven was reluctant to entertain his advances.
E! News was the first to report that things are "tense" between Kourtney and Scott.
