Is Kris Jenner about to take on another superstar client?
After Pete Davidson parted ways with his management company, Brillstein Entertainment Partners last month, many speculated the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was going to take over managing the Saturday Night Live funnyman.
Despite Davidson becoming close with Jenner after being in a relationship with her daughter Kim Kardashian for several months, a source confirmed to Us Weekly, the stand up star has not been signed with the business mogul. “Kris is not Pete’s manager,” the insider told the outlet. However, the source does add that Jenner is giving Davidson advice, but not in an official capacity.
Speculation ran rampant after a guest on Morgan Paige's podcast Morgan’s Pop Talks, claimed The Kardashians star was taking over management of her daughter's boyfriend.
Despite not taking the reigns in Davidson's career, Jenner has been singing his praises calling him a “great” partner for Kardashian. “He’s a really nice guy,” the reality star said.
The King Of Staten Island actor also gifted Jenner a huge bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day, on Sunday, May 8. “Thank you #petedavidson!!! Love you 🧡🧡🧡,” she wrote via her Instagram Story, as she showed off a bright pink and orange flower arangement.
The matriarch opened up about the business of managing her children last year noting to the WSJ, “First of all I think when it’s your child you go over and above anything that would be required of you if you were just a proper person getting a typical paycheck."
“So I think for me I’ve got the advantage of just being totally dedicated to the kids and wanting the best for them and really going the extra mile and spending the extra time," she said. “I’m kind of on call 24/7, which happens constantly. … I feel like a fireman because I’m always putting out fires all day every day, on some levels. I think I’m good because they’re my kids and I think I am qualified for so many different life reasons.”
Davidson and Kardashian have been dating since last year after the SKIMS founder made her SNL hosting debut. The power couple recently made their red carpet debut as a couple at the White House Correspondents dinner.
