Lindsay Ell didn't let a broken foot stop her from attending the 2021 CMT Awards on Wednesday, June 9, in Nashville.
The "Trippin' On Us" singer told reporters that she injured herself while running after her dog. "She got out of the bus, we left the bus door open and she just went plummeting out of it," she explained. "Naturally, like any dog owner, [I ran] after her, but I was in socks. I jumped from the top step of the bus onto the parking lot and I just landed wrong."
"I broke it pretty good," she added.
The Canadian songstress made the most of her injury, wrapping her walking boot in silver to match her sparkly beaded mini-dress by Sherri Hill, featuring one long-sleeve, a sweetheart neckline, sexy side cut-out and wrapped skirt.
Jetting around the awards show on a knee-padded scooter that read "Ell On Wheels," the 32-year-old accessorized with a white rhinestone-detailed Nike sneaker, customized by Jessica Crans (on her good foot), and plenty of bling including a collection of rings by David Yurman and Nadri Jewelry and hoop earrings.
