Matthew Perry's Ex-Fiancée Molly Hurwitz Spotted Without Engagement Ring — But Still Sports A Reminder Of The 'Friends' Star
It’s officially over—or is it? Matthew Perry’s ex-fiancée, Molly Hurwitz, was spotted strolling around L.A. with her pups on Wednesday, June 2, without the rock on her finger, but she did have some Friends merch on hand.
Hurwitz, who works as a literary manager, walked her two dogs with a leash embroidered with the Friends logo. The pooch on the other end of the leash, Alfred, is a brown doodle mix who the ex-couple reportedly share. Alfred strolled alongside Carla, Hurwitz’s other small pup.
This wasn’t the first time Hurwitz was seen sporting Friends fan gear. Back in December, Perry posted an Instagram of his then-fiancée modeling a top that read, “Could this BE any more of a t-shirt?” She sported Chandler Bing's classic line as part of a charity initiative to benefit COVID-19 relief groups.
“You don’t have to pose this way while wearing the shirt, but please feel free,” he captioned the photo.

Perry posted another photo of Hurwitz modeling more merch from the collection, this time showing off a photo of a baseball cap, while the 27-year-old held a banana up to her ear. “Hats?!? Banana still not included,” he wrote.
The recent sighting of Hurwitz, 29, comes just days after she and Perry, 51, called it quits after being engaged for less than a year. The actor confirmed the breakup earlier this week, explaining, “Sometimes things just don’t work out, and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best.”
The former couple, who began dating in 2018, became engaged in November 2020. At the time, Perry called Hurwitz “the greatest woman on the face of the planet.”
The news of the split comes less than a week after the Friends: The Reunion special, in which all six of the original cast members came back together to talk bloopers and memories, aired on HBO Max.
Fans have been concerned about Perry since the special debuted, as the actor, who has been open about a long battle with drug addiction, appeared on camera for a promotional interview and seemed to slur his speech. A source later confirmed that dental work was to blame.
