After nine years of marriage Meagan Good and DeVon Franklin are calling it quits.
According to court papers via The Blast, the producer, 43, officially filed for divorce from the actress, 40, on Monday, December 20, at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles, California.
The two — who do not have any children together — said in a statement to People: "After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected."
The former couple continued, "We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There's no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love."
"We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we've spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other," Meagan and DeVon stated.
The Think Like A Man star and The Wait: A Powerful Practice for Finding the Love of Your Life and the Life You Love author married in 2012 after they first met in 2011.
Earlier this year, Meagan wrote a sweet note alongside a video on Instagram to her then-husband for their anniversary saying, "To the love of my life, my husband, purpose partner, happy anniversary!!"
"This makes #9 and eternity you go!," The Intruder star wrote. "You are the best decision I've ever made (besides loving Jesus lol). I love you with everything inside me. In this life and in the next."
DeVon echoed Meagan's statements in a post to social media of his own along with a photo of the two that read, "I love you my love. Happy Anniversary #9."
