Meghan Markle's Invictus Games 'Takeover': 'People Don't Want' Duchess Ruining Sporting Even Celebration in May

Prince Harry may need to learn to fade into the background if Meghan Markle joins him for the Invictus Games celebrations in London this May.

"I think Harry's really outside the door when it comes to who is in the spotlight," royal expert Angela Levin shared.

"I get quite a lot of people asking me, 'can I do anything to stop the Invictus Games this summer?' I think people are just sick to the back teeth of them because they don't want Meghan taking over," she added.

"[Canada] doesn't want Meghan taking over, she comes over, she does a speech, she does a second speech [and] she leads people down the paths, the winners," Levin added when discussing Meghan's possible chaos at the next Invictus Games.

She continued: "They say she knows nothing. about fighting and going in wars and it was Harry's job and I think they feel quite sorry for him. They're angry so I don't think Harry's got anything to look forward to really."

This insight comes amid the ex-actress having been advised to tread carefully with the rollout of her glossy new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, amid Kate, Princess of Wales' cancer diagnosis.

"As Meghan is no longer part of the monarchy, she is free to launch her brand whenever she likes," PR expert Lynn Carratt dished. "However, given Kate's ongoing cancer treatments, it would be wise for Meghan to be sensitive to the timing of her brand launch, considering the public support for Kate worldwide."

This train of thought was also picked up on by Levin who stated: "And I think it's that extraordinary attitude that she knows better than anyone. She thinks of herself as globally... she's made a mess."

The former actress and her prince have not been in Britain together as a couple since Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral in September 2022. One palace insider stepped forward to reveal that "the long amount of time that has passed since the snob graced us with her presence will guarantee a media frenzy with her oaf" if Meghan joins her husband in May. The Duke of Sussex will be the main attraction at St Paul's Cathedral for a 10th-anniversary celebration of his Invictus Games.

If both analyst and insider replies are anything to go by, Meghan's arrival to Britain in a high-profile manner may not go down very well.

"If it was me, I would have gone to the royal family and thought: 'I need to do two years here to get to know what it's like because it's not how I live. I don't understand the English royal family at all, and after I've got it, I'm going to go zoom because they [the royals] will know that I've really understood it all. I think that's what you have to do,'" Levin concluded.
