Meghan McCain said a magazine cover was 'no place for a child.'

McCain originally made headlines on Tuesday, August 25, for her vocal criticism of the reality TV star's young daughter.

"This poor baby. My heart just breaks for this child," the former The View host wrote in a since-deleted X post.

In a follow-up message, she confirmed that her initial post was about North's magazine cover.

"I was not mocking,” the former View co-host tweeted on Tuesday. “I feel terrible for her and believe that kind of magazine cover is no place for a child. Don’t twist it."

Megyn Kelly questioned Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's parenting during her show on August 25.

Megyn Kelly had similar criticism for Kardashian and West's eldest daughter, calling the magazine cover inappropriate for her age.

"Does North West have good parents?” the journalist, 55, asked during the Tuesday, August 25, episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast. "Because she is on the cover of this British quarterly magazine right now with false teeth — like, a grill situation — blue hair, all these facial piercings."

"The Megyn Kelly Show" host then pointed out that her son was the same age as North. "I know this age very, very well. He is a sweet little boy. This girl — I mean, would you look at this?" she continued. My son is riding his bike, playing tennis and playing something called bucket golf with his buddies in the backyard. This is bizarre. This is a strange choice."
