Taking place at Peltz's Palm Beach family home, each and every facet of the couple's $4 million wedding ceremony has taken the internet — especially the bride's custom Valentino couture wedding dress — by storm.

Featuring a square neckline and a long, flowing train paired with opera-length lace gloves and a matching veil, Peltz's take on bridal elegance looked classically modern. While the dress may be minimal in design, the one-of-a-kind dress took roughly an entire year of work, a process her stylist, Leslie Fremar, described as "the ultimate couture experience."

Collaborating with the brand’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Peltz and her team handpicked several design elements to create her classic yet elevated bridal look, British Vogue reported. Although there were four fittings before the nuptials — two of which took place at Valentino’s Rome headquarters — Valentino's head seamstress flew to the United States for the occasion, making sure the gown was flawless before Peltz walked down the aisle.

"The simplicity of it was magnificent," Fremar explained of the minimalist gown, which was originally supposed to be much more intricate. "We didn't have to overly detail the dress to accomplish the magnitude of it, so we ended up eliminating the embroidery."
