Pete Davidson has reportedly hired extra security after Kanye West dissed him in his new track.

Though the comedian apparently isn't phased by the rapper, Kim Kardashian's new man had reason for concern for his safety following the release of West's new tune, "Eazy" — where the 44-year-old said he's going to "beat Pete Davidson's a**" — given that West's fanbase can be intense.

“Pete isn’t worried about Kanye, but he is concerned about the massive fanbase that Kanye has. His devoted followers listen to his songs and act upon them. That’s why Pete is now using security,” a source told Radar.

“Until recently Pete never had security with him when he was out and about, even when he was engaged to Ariana Grande. But dating Kim is a totally different level of fame," the insider pointed out. "Pete is now a superstar, which comes with a price. As much as he still wants to be low-key and hang with his friends, the reality of his situation has changed.”

“Pete isn’t taking any chances. Whenever he is out with Kim, they use her security. But now Pete needs his own security when he is out alone,” added a pal. “He is still Pete, but now Pete comes with a 6’1, 220 lbs security guard."

News of Davidson's added security comes after West released his track, a collaboration with rapper The Game, on Saturday, January 15. West, who legally changed his name to Ye, had quite the busy weekend, as he also took to Instagram Live to accuse his estranged wife of not inviting him to their daughter Chicago's 4th birthday party.

According to West, Kardashian wouldn't provide him with the address of the party, explaining Travis Scott was the one to give him the celebration details. West eventually made his way to his daughter's party and was seen hanging out with momager Kris Jenner and Chicago, per Radar.

While an insider maintained the Donda crooner "was never not invited" to the bash, they explained: "Kim was under the impression he wanted to do his own celebration."

Meanwhile, it seems Davidson, 28, spent the weekend listening to West's track on repeat, as an insider spilled: "he absolutely loves it and thinks it is hilarious."

"He doesn’t want to fight Kanye; he respects Kanye as he is still the father of Kim’s children and that is important and forever and Pete will never step in the way of any of that," the source insisted, before reiterating The King of Staten Island star thinks being in West's song is "very cool."

"Pete knows that he will live forever now that he is a part of a Kanye song," the insider concluded.

As OK! reported, the Saturday Night Live star and KKW beauty founder were first linked in October following Kardashian's hosting stint on the late-night show. As their relationship continues to heat up, West has made several public pleas for the mother of his children back, purchased a home across the street from her Hidden Hills mansion and began flaunting his newfound romance with girlfriend Julia Fox.
