Prince Harry Is 'Yesterday's Baggage': California Duke Would Be Nothing But an 'Enormous Distraction' to Prince William During U.K Trip
Prince Harry reportedly wants to meet with his estranged brother, Prince William, during his upcoming May trip to the U.K., but the future king is "not studying" his sibling.
"He simply doesn't have the bandwidth to deal with the baggage that inevitably accompanies Harry," royal author Christopher Andersen dished about the Prince of Wales.
"Keep in mind that the Prince of Wales is saddled with the enormous responsibility of holding both his family and the monarchy together while his wife and father cope with their serious medical issues," he added. "Having the 'spare' back in the royal fold would simply be an enormous distraction, despite his good intentions."
The Duke of Sussex is apparently on a mission to repair the rift with his estranged brother and regain his trust.
"Prince Harry will do all he can to 'win' back his brother Prince William on his trip to England, but he knows it will take time," a royal insider spilled.
"He will do all he can to let his brother know he is there for him and to repair that bond," the source added. "He knows it won't be easy. He wants nothing more for them to get back to how they once were. He knows it will take time, and Harry is ready to put in the work as he is determined to have his family back and show support."
This May will mark both the 1-year anniversary of King Charles III's coronation, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "near catastrophic" car chase in Manhattan. But the month may also become unforgettable once again thanks to a proposed meeting between Harry and Prince William, who reportedly have not spoken to one another since September 2022.
"Given Kate's cancer diagnosis, Harry will certainly make efforts to see his brother and Kate when he returns to the U.K. in May — if it happens at all it's to be a very brief carefully choreographed meeting and organized to last a short time so that the brothers can avoid any difficult conversations," royal author Tom Quinn dished.
He continued: "At the same time, Harry knows how it will look if he comes back to the U.K. and doesn't see his brother and Kate. It's going to be a very awkward time."

This meeting would come after Harry's "blink, and you'll miss it" meeting with King Charles III on February 6, following the monarch's cancer disclosure. It would also allow the Montecito Duke to meet with his sister-in-law, Kate, Princess of Wales, since she announced her cancer diagnosis to the world on Friday, March 22.
Harry and Kate were reportedly once "quite close," in what royal analysts claim led to a rift between them when he started dating Meghan in 2016.
Daily Express reported on Andersen's remarks.
