Prince Harry 'Still Wants a Full Apology' From the Royal Family Who Stand by Their Statement 'Recollections May Vary'
Harry, Duke of Sussex, is still allegedly holding firm that his royal in-laws should seek his forgiveness, a source dished.
"Prince Harry allegedly still wants and expects a full apology, [and] 'recollections may vary' continues to be the royals’ perspective on things as much as we can tell," royal author Gareth Russell told a publication.
The news comes amid reports that Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, have purposefully not been invited to assist the royal family in commemorating Queen Elizabeth II on September 8.
When asked about the alleged snub, Russell replied, "I suppose we’ll find out one way or the other someday whether they were invited, but I would be stunned if they had said yes and went to it."
As OK! previously reported, September 8 is the first anniversary of the late monarch's passing at Balmoral Castle. The day is also known as "Accession Day" in the United Kingdom, as it also marks King Charles III's first year as the reigning monarch, which began the moment his mother died.
It has been reported that the King wishes to mark that day privately while in seclusion at Balmoral, which is the normal practice of reigning Sovereigns on the day of their accession to the throne.

It was also reported that the monarch invited his youngest son and daughter-in-law to vacation at the sprawling estate in the Scottish Highlands, but not on that specific day. The couple is expected to be in Germany the day after to attend the Invictus Games.
The prince attended his father's coronation on May 6 but left almost immediately after the Westminster Abbey ceremony concluded. With senior royals upset with the Duke over his damaging allegations against them in his memoir, Spare, it has been revealed that Kate, Princess of Wales, may be working to mend the bitter feud between Harry and Prince William.
The princess is rumored to be making "late-night calls" to her brother-in-law "to tell him to keep his chin up and not worry too much about these temporary setbacks," an anonymous source told an outlet. However, even if the future queen is trying to heal the family rift, her attempts may be futile.
"It’s obviously an extremely sensitive and delicate situation between many of the other senior royals and especially William, who has made it very clear that he is not yet ready to sit down with Harry for peace talks or any type of open dialogue for that matter," a source spilled.
