Princess Beatrice and her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, may never be asked to become "working royals" and royal expert Angela Levin insinuates this may be a good thing.

"They would maybe leak something [to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle], and it might be awkward because of the problems that Prince Andrew is still having," the author told an outlet.

King Charles and Kate Middleton are currently both recovering from surgeries.

"He didn't know he was going to be unwell or that Catherine would fall ill because she eats well and all that sort of thing," Levin added when discussing King Charles III and Kate, Princess of Wales' recent surgeries. "So, I think he didn't have that in mind. It's very difficult to choose who he would have. He's got his sister, Princess Anne, who's always there, works incredibly hard, and only does slightly fewer engagements than him. He's got the Duke and Duchess of Scotland, his youngest brother."

She continued: "And that's been terrific as well because they just get on with things, Sophie and Edward."

Zara and Mike Tindall are popular 'junior royals.'

The renowned royal commentator then let it be known who she favors when it comes to a possible extension to the monarchy's slate of senior royals. "Then you come to whether he should have his other brother's children and Prince Andrew's daughters, and that's very difficult as they are quite friendly with Harry," she observed. "My view is that he could have Zara, who is the daughter of Princess Anne. She and her husband Mike, who also comes from an ordinary background, fit in beautifully with the royal family."

"They could do it very well. They're very popular, they're very nice, they're jolly, they're honorable, they're loyal to all the royal family. So he could do that. Maybe he will, but I think he's trying to save the country money. It might not be worthwhile," Levin concluded.

Not everyone who has moved within royal circles shares this view about the popular "ordinary" royals without titles to their names.

Zara Tindall is said to share her mother Princess Anne's 'dedication to duty.'

Zara and Mike Tindall are undoubtedly popular extended members of the royal family, but Princess Diana's ex-butler feels the pair does not have what it takes to be on the royal front lines. "I don’t see Zara and Mika Tindall are the right candidates to step up to the plate, I can see Eugenie and Beatrice doing charitable work and minor roles," Paul Burrell dished.

"But Princess Anne is always there, she is the best queen we never had, she has an incredible work ethic and is a great credit to the royal family," he added. "The King will lean a lot on his sister as well as his son in the coming months."
