In her interview with THR, Barr also mentioned that Goodman turned down an offer to star in her self-financed single-camera sitcom Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable.

When asked whether he connected with the actress about the end of the Roseanne spin-off The Conners, which saw Dan visiting Roseanne's grave in the final episode, the 74-year-old actor confessed, “No.”
“I’d rather doubt if she wants to talk to me. We haven’t talked for about seven or eight years,” he added.

Channing Dungey, President of ABC Entertainment, said in a statement at the time, “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”
Meanwhile, the sitcom went on to continue its run as The Conners, with Goodman leading the cast.

Barr shot back at the actor, who played D.J. Conner, her onscreen son in the show, calling him “a little f------ worm.”
The THR interviewer brought that incident up after asking about her current relationship with Goodman and Metcalf, calling it “very hard to watch.”
To this, the actress simply replied, “Nobody is more brokenhearted than me. I just choose to remember the fun and the good times.”
