Simon Cowell & Lauren Silverman Get Engaged, The 'America's Got Talent' Judge Realized 'He's Met The Woman Of His Dreams,' Source Spills
Simon Cowell is going to be a married man.
The 62-year-old reportedly popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, during their recent Barbados vacation, with the America's Got Talent judge getting down on one knee on Christmas Eve.
"Simon and Lauren are ridiculously, nauseatingly in love — incredibly, lockdown brought them closer than ever," the source reportedly added. Silverman was said to have been emotional and accepted the proposal right away.
"Lauren has been Simon’s rock over these past few years — supporting him when he broke his back, and through thick and thin generally. They make a wonderful couple," the insider reportedly continued.

The couple's son, Eric, 7, and Silverman's 16-year-old son, Adam, were believed to have been present for the milestone moment. The source pointed out to the outlet it was important for the TV personality to have the kids involved because he adores the blended family they've become.
Cowell's fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden discussed the exciting news during an appearance on Heart FM on Wednesday, January 12, Daily Mail reported. Holden confessed she was as surprised as Silverman was by the proposal and revealed Cowell simply texted his friends saying: "It's happening."
"Simon said he would never get married, and obviously Lauren has been by his side and you know they’ve been through so much together, and I think she’s the one, but I don’t know if she ever thought he would put a ring on it!" Holden confessed, per the outlet.
Cowell and Silverman confirmed their relationship in 2013.
