It's Over! Tiffany Haddish & Common Call It Quits After One Year: They're 'Too Busy for a Serious Relationship'
Tiffany Haddish and Common are over.
The former flames called it quits after more than one year together, with an insider telling People: "They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship."
The 41-year-old first revealed she and the rapper, 49, were an item in August 2020 during an interview with Steve-O on his podcast Steve-O’s Wild Ride. “I am in a relationship,” the Girls Trip star confirmed before spilling the tea on who her handsome hunk was.
“Yeah, we’re twins now,” she quipped at the time, referring to her and Common's similar shaved heads.
The Hell On Wheels actor and the Self Made star originally met in 2019 after working on the film The Kitchen. Haddish claimed that they were just friends at first telling Steve-O, that the relationship “wasn’t anything sexual or anything like that because my eyes were set on something else.”
“And then he got tested for everything, I got tested for everything and yeah, we’ve been f—ing,” she said after detailing how they bonded during their first virtual Bumble date in April of 2020.

This summer, Common had raved about his then-girlfriend and their relationship to PEOPLE's Every Day podcast. "I think one of the important things about relationships for me has been to really know myself more and love myself and be able to express the things that I want," he said. "I've evolved and gotten to that place."
The musician also said during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, "You know, I just care for her a lot, enjoy her, and am grateful to have her in my life. I'm happy."
Haddish was previously married to William Stewart before they split in 2013. As for Common, he has never been married, but shares 24-year-old daughter Omeye Lynn with ex Kim Jones.
