Tom Segura opened up about his split with Christina Pazsitzky.
On Wednesday's episode of their joint podcast, "Your Mom's House," Segura called it a "horrible experience" in his first public comments.
He went on to say that the breakup was "emotionally, a rollercoaster," and happened "many months" ago.
"Having it be public is awful," he said. "We wanted it to be private; that’s how we were handling everything. And the day you get a phone call from your publicist going, ‘Hey, TMZ’s gotten wind of this, and they’re going to run a story,’ you’re like, ‘What?’"

Segura, 47, and Pazsitzky, 50, announced their decision to split up earlier this year, ending their union after 19 years of marriage.
Per sources' claims to TMZ, the two separated within the last few months, and the divorce is "completely amicable."
The source added, "They had a special and productive relationship, creating one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry and, more importantly, two kids. They are taking different paths moving forward while remaining devoted to their children."
Segura and Pazsitzky share two sons: Ellis, born in 2016, and Julian, born in 2018.
Christina Pazsitzky Also Opened Up About Their Split
Christina Pazsitzky got emotional while opening up more about her separation from Tom Segura.
After confirming the news in a brief message via her Instagram Story (per Just Jared), Pazsitzky got emotional during the podcast.
She said the breakup has been "extremely sad," adding that they "tried to work it out for several years for the sake of" their children.
She added, "We gave it all we could, but we just couldn’t work things out."

Christina Pazsitzky cleared the air to avoid any misconceptions about there being bad blood between her and Tom Segura.
She went on to note how the two have been together through everything.
"Look, we had 20 amazing years together. That’s a really good run, I think, in a marriage. We had a very successful marriage. We created [YMH Studios], we have comedy careers [and] most importantly created a family," she said.
At the same time, she cleared the air to avoid any misconceptions about bad blood between the duo.
She revealed, "We are amicable. This is not an ugly divorce…you know, people change. It’s just one of those things. And you know some f---ing cancer couldn’t kill me. You think a dude’s going to f---ing take me out?"
