10 Things That Need to Happen on This Season of The Walking Dead

Yessss The Walking Dead is back! The fourth season returns to AMC this weekend for more zombie-slaying fun and terror. I'm excited....there's just a couple things. As a huge fan of the graphic novels (yes I have become that "The book is better" snob) I want to see this show be as amazing as it can be. So there are just a few things that need to take place this season to have me rooting from my couch. I've laid them out here, see if you agree.
Carl needs to be treated like an adult.
Carl needs to be treated like an adult. I know he's only a kid, one that would never be expected to live up to this kind of responsibility in the real world. But this is a walker world. As we saw last season, he might be on the fence morally about some things, but treat him as one of the crew members. He's capable.
More Daryl.
More Daryl. Daryl is consistently a badass. He takes care of any problems that might arrise, he's not annoying and not just because he's a man of few words, but also (spoiler alert) with his brother Merle no longer an issue he should be ready to take care of zombie business.
Make Daryl and Carol happen.
Make Daryl and Carol happen. I believe The Office had it's best romantic story lines when it wasn't just Jim and Pam in love, but also Angela and Dwight. Same thing might apply here! Love Maggie and Glenn SO much, but add another couple to the mix for some nice moments as well as heightened intensity since there's more at stake for the characters.
The Maggie and Glenn Wedding
The Maggie and Glenn Wedding. From what I've read, this season is going to be super zombie-heavy which means gore to the max. Let's break it up with a lovely wedding between the show's lovebirds. And then give them a spinoff, because I could watch them forever.
Laurie goes away.
Laurie goes away. Obviously losing Laurie was a hugely difficult moment for Rick. But enough with these visions. As we've seen, they are putting him in danger and taking his head out of the game. There's enough to see and worry about, and she is no longer one of those things. Sorry. We're living in a harsh world now bro.

Michonne kicks some more ass.
Michonne kicks some more ass. No one has more confidence and sword skills than Michonne. I want to see more of this put into action this season. She is one tough cookie, let's see her get out there and show off!
The Governor needs to die.
The Governor needs to die. Ugh. Enough of him already. I'm so annoyed with him and not just in that way that extremely evil bad guys can be annoying. I'm sick of seeing his eye-patched face. There are other adventures and living humans out there in the world. I want a satisfying death to the Governor so the group can move on.
Hershel gets to sit down in a comfy chair.
Hershel gets to sit down in a comfy chair. I mean, the poor guy hobbling around with 1.5 legs on those crutches! He's worked on his farm his whole life, he should be able to sit in a chair and read the paper and relax at this point. I'd love to see that happen for him.
Baby Judith follows Holly's lead.
Baby Judith follows Holly's lead. Baby Holly on Breaking Bad almost stole the show. She was adorable and said "Mama" at the right time. Let's see Judith wow us this season with some adorable faces or perfectly-timed first words, just to give us a little hope for humanity. Maybe?
Everyone keeps all their limbs.
Everyone keeps all their limbs. Not the case in the books, so I'm really just keeping my fingers crossed that everyone stays safe and the biggest injury is only a paper cut. Although those can be deadly...
