We hate to say we told you so, but…! Bachelor Nation has seen its fair share of doomed relationships, however, these 12 former Bachelor couples take the cake for the most love blind pairs in the reality show’s history! Click through to find out who called it quits after the final rose.
Cursed from the start! Can’t say we didn’t see Lace Morris and Grant Kemp’s relationship coming to a crashing halt after the two decided to get matching tattoos while on Bachelor In Paradise? (Like, who does that anymore?). The two called it quits a few months after getting engaged on the Paradise finale.
Oh, Josh Murray and Andi Dorfman. When Andi decided to go with the Bachelor bad boy, over the awkward cutie that is Nick Viall, Bachelor nation was simply waiting for the ball to drop in this couple’s doomed relationship -- and drop it did! After a nine-month engagement, Andi and Josh’s relationship crumbled, and nearly a year after the couple’s split, Andi dropped a major bombshell, in her tell-all book, about her romance with Josh and she claimed he emotionally abused her throughout their relationship.
Josh had not one, but two failed loves courtesy of The Bachelor. Following his disaster of a relationship with Andi, the former baseball player found love on Bachelor In Paradise with Amanda Stanton. While all of Bachelor nation seemed to know that these two weren’t a match, Amanda and Josh really tried to prove everyone one wrong and became engaged on the BIP finale. Ultimately the two went their separate ways a few months after BIP but, just this week, Josh called the police on Amanda after he claimed she refused to give the care he bought for her back to him. #Messy
Seriously, who didn’t see Bachelor Bob Guiney and Estella Gardinier’s relationship coming to an end? In a strange turn of Bachelor events, Bob put a PROMISE ring, which was really a “Neil Lane engagement ring,” on Estella’s finger for the Bachelor finale! Like, come on! And just a few months after their “promise ring” ceremony the couple called it quits. #NoSurprise
Celebrity Bachelor Charlie O'Connell gave the final rose to Sarah Brice, but not an engagement ring, need I say more? #TheyBrokeUp
Another non-proposal! Bachelor Jesse Palmer chose to take things slow with his final pick, Jessica Bowlin, however, their dating relationship lasted a whole month after the Season 5 finale.
Cheater, cheater! Bachelor Ben Flajnik proposed to Courtney Robertson on the Season 16 Bachelor finale, but the couple ended up calling off their engagement before the finale aired because Ben was caught kissing another woman! While Courtney ended up giving him another chance, they ultimately called it quits in October 2012.
Some people just aren't meant to find love on reality TV! After not choosing either of his two final women on Season 11 of The Bachelor, Brad Womack returned for season 15 but broke up with his fiancée Emily Maynard before the finale even aired.
Who doesn’t remember Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell on season 18 of The Bachelor? Simply put, their relationship was like watching an impending train crash. Juan refused to say ‘I Love You,’ which, for some reason, Nikki justified/excused (even on Couple’s Therapy – and yes they were on that show too) and the two somehow made it past the After The Final Rose special, however, not too far. While Nikki said Juan finally said ‘I love you,’ months after the Bachelor, she admitted it was a little too late.
Listen to your family! Jake Pavelka’s family warned him not to choose Vienna Girardi. (We all saw how well that turned out). However, the reality star went against his family’s wishes and asked Vienna to marry him on the Season 14 Bachelor finale. Ultimately, Jake ended up pulling the plug on his forbidden romance over the phone –a whole 2,100 miles away!
The love of fame! Season 19’s Chris Soules And Whitney Bischoff ended things just six months after their proposal aired, as a source told Radar, “Chris [cared] more about the fame than he [did] about Whitney."
One of the most tragic break-ups of them all! Bachelor Jason Mesnick asked Melissa Rycroft to marry him on the Season 13 finale, however, their love story didn’t even make it past the After The Final Rose special, as he broke up with her during the live show! He also admitted he was in love with the runner-up, Molly Malaney. #DoubleWhammy
