Camila Cabello won her first solo AMA award for Best Pop/Rock Song. She later took home New Artist of the Year.
Post Malone won Pop/Rock Male over Drake and Ed Sheeran.
Taylor Swift won her 20th AMA for Tour of the Year. She gave a big hug to her buddy Camila (who opened her tour for multiple dates) before going on stage to accept her award.
Favorite Soul R&B artist went to Khalid. “I’m so nervous!”, he exclaimed while on stage.

A pregnant Carrie Underwood got choked up while accepting the award for Favorite Country Female Artist.
Shawn Mendes won the AMA for Best Adult Contemporary. It’s his second time winning in this category.
Migos won Best Pop/Rock Duo/Group. Offset thanked his “sexy” lady in the front, Cardi B, while on stage.
The mother of late rapper XXXTentacion, Cleopatra Bernard, accepted Favorite Soul/R&B Album on his behalf.
Kane Brown scored Favorite Country Male Artist.
Taylor Swift won her 21st and 22nd AMA for Best Pop/Rock album for Reputation and Artist of the Year.
