Young and the Restless fans rejoice! One of the show’s most beloved stars, Eileen Davidson, is coming back! Read on for everything you need to know about her return.
Eileen, 59, will reprise her role of Ashley Abbott for a two-day stint on Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29.
“I said on my last day that I would love to come back for a visit, and I was lucky enough to have (Head Writer) Josh Griffith take me up on my offer,” she told Soap Opera Digest exclusively last month. “It’s always great to see my Y&R family.”
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2018 for her portrayal of Ashley.
Eileen has played the role of Ashley on and off for almost forty years, beginning in 1982. She’s also had success on other soap series like Santa Barbara and Days of Our Lives.
Her return could be an emotional one, as Y&R tragically lost one of their other longtime cast members, Kristoff St. John, on Sunday, February 3. He was 52.
She paid tribute to him days after his passing.
