Details have emerged about rapper Nipsey Hussle's upcoming memorial service. He was shot dead outside his Los Angeles store on Sunday, March 31, at the age of 33. Read on for all the details.
The service will reportedly take place at The Staples Center on Thursday, April 7. Tickets will be sold through a website.
It's an incredibly spacious venue with a 21,000 seat capacity.
There was a reported meeting this past Wednesday, April 3, with Nipsey's family and the people in charge at The Staples Center. LAPD officials were also there to help plan logistics and security for the event.
The turnaround for the event will be very quick as the final Los Angeles Clippers game of the season takes place the day beforehand on Wednesday, April 6.
Police have identified 29-year-old Eric Holder as the prime suspect in Nipsey's killing.
Nipsey's girlfriend and baby mother, Lauren London, posted a touching tribute to him a couple of days after he was killed.
