50 Cent Donates $3 Million For Academic Enrichment In Inner City Areas

50 Cent is starting the year off right when he announced on Instagram that he will be donating $3 million to inner city education programs in low-income areas. The money will benefit youngsters for academic enrichment and will go towards helping non-profit organizations. Keep reading to hear more about his great charitable feat!
The rapper wrote on IG, "I wrote a check today for G-Unity foundation to distribute to other non-profit organizations that focus on academic enrichment in low income areas. I feel good about it."
"Positive vibes," he added to the caption. The Instagram pic showed a snapshot of the 43-year-old signing a check that read, "THREE MILLION DOLLARS EXACTLY."
The post signed off with the hashtags, "#lecheminduroi" and "#bellator." Le Chemin du Roi is the name of the Power actor's champagne company, while Bellator is the MMA company he partnered with in a fashion deal.

According to The Blast, he wants the money to be "used towards school programs and also the construction of new parks and open space areas for underprivileged kids."
