50 Cent is starting the year off right when he announced on Instagram that he will be donating $3 million to inner city education programs in low-income areas. The rapper wrote on IG, "I wrote a check today for G-Unity foundation to distribute to other non-profit organizations that focus on academic enrichment in low income areas. I feel good about it."
"Positive vibes," he added to the caption. The Instagram pic showed a snapshot of the 43-year-old signing a check that read, "THREE MILLION DOLLARS EXACTLY."
According to The Blast, he wants the money to be "used towards school programs and also the construction of new parks and open space areas for underprivileged kids."
