Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller has been sentenced to a year in prison! Find out where the reality queen went wrong.

She was given one year in prison, far short of the 30 month maximum that she was facing.

Abby pled guilty to charges related to federal bankruptcy fraud back in June 2016.

She admitted to not reporting an international monetary transaction and also to concealing bankruptcy assets.

While things could have been much worse for the dance teacher, her legal team had been hoping to get her off without any jail time, arguing that the government hadn't shown that Abby actually intended to cause loss to her creditors when she concealed her funds.

Adding insult to injury, her former Dance Moms cast mates showed up at her court proceedings, and it was NOT to support Abby Lee.
