While on the red carpet for this year’s Emmys, Alec Baldwin took a moment to finally put an end to the speculation by confirming that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are indeed married! He also graciously imparted some marriage advice for his nephew-in-law. Keep reading for the latest.

After being asked about how rowdy and “wild” Baldwin weddings are known to get, the uncle of the bride answered, “Well they went off and got married and I don’t know what the deal is!” Apparently the secret nuptials were kept a secret from the public and from Hailey’s own family.
However, the 30 Rock actor clearly didn’t hold too much of a grudge because he happily shared a few tips for the newly married pair. He said, “When you get married, I think it works best if you can really be together. You have to hook up your schedules where you can really be with each other.”

As OK! readers know, after a short whirlwind engagement, Hailey and Justin tied the knot at a NYC courthouse last week.
At first, fans were confused when the model took to Twitter to deny the marriage. However, a source close to the couple explained that Hailey didn’t view the courtroom nuptials the same as a traditional Christian wedding. Another source reported that now that the couple have obtained their marriage license they have 60 days to seal the deal. So, perhaps there’s still a wild Baldwin wedding on the horizon!
Alec wasn’t the only family member to speak out about Hailey and the “Confident” singer’s big step. Justin’s mom Pattie Malette tweeted a cryptic message to the couple and their naysayers. She wrote, “Haters gonna hate #LoveWins”
